Best Johnstown breakfast! Come visit a piece of Johnstown history. The Corner Coffee Shoppe is a family restaurant that has been in existence for over 60 years. It began in 1953 in the Geistown Cloverleaf location, where it was neighbor to the old Saylor Brothers Hardware. CCS made a move up the street in 1997 to its current location; on the “Corner” of the Bel Air Plaza. In all of these locations the common goal was great food, reasonable prices and a hometown feel. On November 7, 2011, the Riccilli’s continued this landmark’s legacy by purchasing The Corner Coffee Shoppe and CCS has been thriving ever since. In 2017, Natalie and John began a total remodel of the restaurant. The goal was to recreate the “old style diner feel” complete with chrome, red and black décor. Just walk in and hear the music from the 50’s and 60’s era playing and see the black and white checkerboard floor and long lunch counter complete with stools….
